What a pretty picture (Its a wolf in sheeps clothing!!!!)

     

This page lists some of the problems found on my neighbours properties, Plot 1 is the other half of my semi-detached property and plot 3 well is the other next door neighbour (plot 3 also happens to have been one of the sites show homes).

OK first up, Plot 1's list

Outside Front door light not working  
Fencing damaged Wimpey had to rebuild fence as posts had not been sunk deep enough
Driveway monoblock is uneven and has no retaining edge Related to subsidence
Gaps at eves Wimpey have partially sealed these
Marks visible on plastic gable (top left)
Patio door hinges scratched
Gap under wall behind Gas Meter They did not report this to wimpey like I did
Hinge caps not correctly fitted  
Patio door UPVC ledge has saw cut in it
Mortar stain on decorative lintel They did not report this to wimpey like I did
Eaves at front coming apart  
Back Garden Drainage This is exactly the same as our problems
Excess mortar on facing brickwork They reported this to wimpey but were told correcting it would cause damage to facing brick so did pursue the issue.
Weep vents not correctly installed They did not report this to wimpey like I did
Weep vents at front above bedroom window protruding excessively  
No step at backdoor (does it comply with regulations) They did not report this to wimpey like I did
General pointing of brickwork poor They did not report this to wimpey like I did
2 rodding eyes in front garden buried (assumption) This is an assumption, every garden in our row has 2. We found ours when the garden was dug up. Plot one's aren't visible anywhere so we are assuming they are buried
Ridge caps on low level roof not straight and fittings coming loose
Eaves around low level roof warping Like us wimpey resorted to using excessive amounts of silicon sealant to fill the gaps
Corner of driveway subsiding
Kitchen End panel at washing machine not scribed to wall or touching floor
Finish tiles off under angled wall unit
Window wall cupboard pelmet not fixed
Plinths not all same size or scribed to floor
Boiler cupboard damage to edging and pelmet  
Pipe box not fixed  
Dummy drawer and infill panel at sink not level
Cupboard next to boiler green marker pen on door  
In filled panel at extractor fan not flush at canopy wine racks
Left hand canopy wine rack: 4 screw holes present  
Right hand wine rack at oven, top shelf damaged
Angled wall unit door stop on carcase damaged and screw holes  
Small wall cupboard next to fridge edge damaged
End of plinth at fridge not fixed or scribed  
Double doors into living room rubbing standards
Glass scratches on patio doors and kitchen windows  
Hole for socket on fuse box panel in walk in cupboard
Window handles slack and no screw covers  
Walk in cupboard aims tape bubbled We also have this issue
No dimmer switch fitted  
Black marks on ceiling above boiler
Kitchen sink beginning to rust  
Living Room/Lounge Chips on paint work at double doors  
Nail sticking out of standard at double doors  
Nails popping on gable wall  
Window (glass) badly scratched  
Cover cap on window handle missing  
Double socket to be finished (rough edging) at double doors  
Ceiling: various marks and protruding nails  
Entrance Bitterly cold (not convinced area is insulated correctly) Exactly the same problem as us on investigation wimpey found insulation was missing from low level roof space
Small window (glass) scratched  
No screw cover cap (small window)  
Small window handle is slack
Pen mark on window sill of small window  
Living room door standard needing touched up  
Door locks on standards need replaced (acid taken colour out)  
Weather bars and draught excluders marked by paint  
Main door patterned glass chipped and scratched  
Downstairs Toilet Bitterly cold (not convinced area is insulated correctly)  
No screw cover caps on window handle  
Staircase/Landing Staircase wall at hand rail the joints are not flush
Banister wall at upstairs landing, corner damaged
Banister marked
Nail holes at top needing filled
Wall at top of stair right hand needs filled
Sloped wall needs filled
Wall at isolator switch needs flushed off
Back room door facing top right screw to be removed and filed in, paint if required to finish
Corner at radiator wall needs touched up (paint)
Bathroom Wall at door bottom needs touched in
Bathroom window wall also needs touched in
Main bath tap handle damaged
Excess sealant around sink and bath to be removed We had this issue around our sink, the sealant in our case was also dirty
Vanity unit plinth at left hand corner damaged by nail
Hole in bath panel at top right edge
Low water pressure
Front Bedroom Double socket at walk in wardrobe needs finished off  
Wall above radiator uneven
Nails popping at gable wall (3)
Nail at ceiling level to be filled and painted
Wall at walk in wardrobe (left side) is uneven and skirting rough
Ceiling above the window is uneven
Window glass has scratches and screw cover cap missing
Rear Bedroom Window Scratched  
Phone socket has no dial tone
