Gap in foundation
This gap I discovered behind our gas box, wimpey say there is a lintel bridging the gap but that does account for the fact the gap gives small animal e.g. RATS access to cavitiy and easy access to the inside of the house. Also it's difficult to spot in the photo but the block which the brickwork is built on is a thermalite block not a concrete block

These pictures are of my kitchen floor when the water was approximatley 6 inches deep in the back garden it started coming through the back door into the kitchen. Unfortunatley the battery on the camera was drained and we never got photos of the pool in the garden. Because of the floor in the kitchen it is a bit difficult to see the water in the photos
Water came in the back door when it rose to approx 6 inches in the back garden
